Prowant Construction Company is a general contractor, building in a 50-mile radius of Lanark, Illinois.  With the ability to do any type of work from window installation to building large custom homes, no job is too big or small for Prowant Construction.  Some of our projects include home remodeling, timber frame homes, log homes and small medical clinics.

Prowant Construction was started by Arnold Prowant in 1960.  He started with a van and one helper, working on kitchens and home additions.  Lonnie started working for his father in 1975 after graduating from high school.  Arnie taught him the importance of quality work and how to build.  Lonnie took over the business in 1991.  His two sons, Karl and John, began working with him during their high school years, beginning the third generation of Prowants in the business.  With a new office and warehouse built in 1998, Prowant Construction Company continues its tradition of quality work and customer satisfaction.
